Lol my main class is a Titan but I also have a bladedancer Hunter as well, and I've been on both the giving and receiving end of an arc blade. And I can tell you that using arc blade feels (and is) so overpowered. It's crazy I've shot rockets at them, had an entire team shot at them, and even hulk smashed them with FoH (Fists of Havoc) and they just don't die. I've even had the same done to me and getting a shot to the face with a rocket would normally make me say "well next life I'll do better" but with arc blade active I'm like "DAT TIKLEZ IMMA MURDA U NOHW."
Only way to kill a BD Hunter is shoot while they're murdering your team across the map or Nova Bomb which HA...Titans don't get. Yes, even FoH can't just outright kill them, if you have aftermath or a pulse 'nade thenif they stay there long enough for one burst to go off combined with a FoH then maybe...just maybe.
It's gotten to the point that if I see someone go blade dancer I either don't waste bullets and just let them kill me or I hope they see a dif teammate and I run and run and don't look back. Or if I'm lucky and hear it before I see it I try and hide till it wears off.

^This.. I have tried to counter BD's with a fist of havoc a number of times just to be killed and watch the hunter skip away to his next target..
-
Yeah. Totally. I'm lying when 99% of this thread is saying the same thing I'm saying. The point is, I've gotten shot out of my super and you can't get past one with FOH? You must suck. Simple as that.
-
I suck cause I activate a FoH on top of one, right next to one and even at one point while two of them were within FoH range and it doesn't kill them and I suck cause of that. Unless there's a hidden perk that's "cause uber damage to just blade dancers while there super is active" I'm not seeing there is just no way. Simple as that.
-
Okay. Yeah then you do suck.
-
Send me a friend request PS4 : IronFatherPyrus lets play a couple of Rumble matches and see how terrible I really am. Unless you don't think you can beat someone who sucks.
-
I play on PS3.
-
All right then.
-
OK I hate being killed by a blade dancer but really man? Rockets hitting them in the foot will kill them. Or about 25 bullets from my AR. There not THAT bad.
-
Edited by RagedHalomaniac: 10/16/2014 3:45:21 AMYou have a frickin amazing AR. They are that bad...
-
A well aimed heavy-weapon shot/s will almost always take down a bladedancer or sunsinger. Source: experience (28 Hunter, 26 Titan, 24 Warlock) Am I wrong?
-
Rofl you're such a liar. Rockets? One shotgun blast puts down a BD. The entire shooting at one? Maybe if you guys are literally a foot from one but spread out? Even a small distance? Dead... Hush...

Uou lie

This is so false its hilarious
-
This is false? Why is this false?

You have no idea what you are talking about or are lying. An Arcing BladeDancer dies with a shotgun blast and a melee hit. A rocket is an instant one-shot on them using Arc Blade. I even punch BladeDancers to death on my Defender. If they try to come into my bubble I can literally punch them to death with my melee before they can kill me with my super. No other class can have its super so easily stuffed or is so vulnerable while using it. No other class. I can chart out your lies: 1) a rocket is an automatic one-hit kill on a BD using Arc Blade. 2) FoH is an automatic one hit kill, and can even be activated AS YOU ARE BEING HIT with Arc Blade and the Striker will still survive with some health and kill the BD. 3) BD can easily be gunned down with regular autorifles by just 3 people if they see him soon enough. Here is a list of the things that can easily take down a BD using Arc Blade: 1) A single shotgun blast + a melee strike. 2) 2 shotgun blasts 3) 2-3 people focus firing them if the BD is not within 10-15 feet when spotted. 4) FoH one-shot. 5) Fusion Rifle. 6) Nova Bomb One shot. 7) Defender in bubble who uses Blessing of light and renews his shield can literally just punch the BD to death, Arc Blade or No. 8) Sunsinger with Damage Resistance on Radiance and overshield on standard Melee can sometimes actually just punch the Arcing BD to death. 9) Rocket launcher is a one-shot. There is almost no limit to the ways you can put a stop to Arc Blade. If you deny this you are either A) lying B) Don't know what the hell you are talking about. No other class can roam and get kills with their super, but no other class has the inherent weaknesses in their supers that Hunters suffer from.

Edited by RagedHalomaniac: 10/16/2014 3:54:21 AMFoH doesnt one hit a BD sometimes. Done it before. 2 PB shotgun blast w/ rare shotgun with HC rounds didnt kill one. Im speaking from Experience The punching thing you are talking about must have been the victim of a already weakened BD

Obviously I have know Idea what I'm talking about, I and many others are just spewing lies for the hell'ov'it and not because this stuff actually happens. And the shotgun and punch might work for you but not me and I've got a fully leveled found verdict and still can't even 3 shot and melee hit one and won't kill 'em.
-
Then you are just bad. You are not hitting them, or you are only getting them with part of your shotgun spread. But if this is happening to you, it is you, not class imbalance.
-
Sooooo much BS.

I have no reason to lie here. I've shotgun+Punched Arcblades literally 50 times at the very least. NOT ONCE did it ever break the shield. I've Plan C'd one in the chest just today, Straight away, impossible to miss, still lives. I've watched my brother play his 28 hunter, charge a Bubble with 3 people inside, Become blind from entering and still spam melee triple kill. There wouldn't be a million complaints about Arc Blade if it was a balanced move. And if you're telling me its SO easy to kill they, you yourself are in denial or..You're just straight up lying.. there's a reason the Pro gaming destiny scene is 90% hunters, 7%titan, 3% warlock. Dont be butthurt by the facts cause it downplays your talent. Hunters are overpowered, enjoy it. cause many do not; thus why they are reaching out to the forums to salvage the only good game they've got right now. #PremadeHunterteamsIronbannerforrep

Again, you are just bad if you are not able to take down BD. Moreover, one or even two people SHOULDN'T be able to take them down. They are using their super. No class can just be stuffed while using their super, and if they do die their super power is refunded. The BD just loses his super completely, 0 kills. Lastly, you are focusing SOLELY on the SUPER! There is also class based melee and grenades. I went through a group on bungie.net with over 200 members and looked at the PvP kills on players. NO MATTER WHAT CLASS IS USED, ABILITY KILLS (class based abilities) ARE APPROXIMATELY 30% OF TOTAL KILLS! It is balanced. If Bladedancers are getting a few more kills with their supers, then they are getting less with grenades and class melee. That is balance. Stop whining.

we are focusing on the super because they are OP
