This post is mainly directed to those working at Bungie who still want to improve the game they spent the last 7 years of their life creating. Those of you from the community who are here to support, follow the directions at the bottom of the post.
Bungie, when you as a company spend all the time you say you do watching and listening to your community, why, when a simple post like this is made, does it receive so much positive feedback? I imagine it's because these community members in the feedback forum genuinely care to improve this game. I believe that when they see this game, they see it for all the glory it could have been. I also believe that despite what everyone may think in the Destiny forum, they actually do want to see the game succeed in every way it was imagined by your designers years ago.
Innovation can be a powerful thing. But when you use it to create something that in every way seems like you are traveling backwards in time from what should be the standard in the game industry, the power seems to diminish and get replaced with laziness. From that, the community takes the game and begins to unravel it from its very core. They point fingers and call names. Harsh words create hurt feelings. But don't let this stop you Bungie. Take that power back. Follow in the footsteps of those who walk the barren waists of the world you shed your blood and tears into.
Bungie, I challenge you. Be brave and take back your Destiny.
