What is being discussed here is how higher tier weapons can make no difference while being in a lvl enabled playlist where it is expected to have a higher damage output(the only thing taken away in standard Crucible from weapons, all other stats stay).

Ahh but its a constant with whiney little bitches on the forums screaming. Nerf this. nerf that. But this event itself. goes to show you. it doesnt matter what the weapon is. it doesnt need nerfed. because a level 1 weapon does the same damage. so it is rellevant. I dont care if its supposed to be balanced. I'm not argueing the fact it is supposed to be unbalanced in IB. I'm just stating. this is proof. that the whiney bastards can shut the -blam!- up with the nerfbat for everything because this is solid proof. its not the weapons that is OP.

But IB shouldn't be balanced - this is the point people are trying to make. Bungie was supposed to give us an event where high level players that spent time finding/buying better weapons then upgrading them would get an advantage over low levels with low level guns. A 300 damage auto rifle (exotic or legendary) should do way more than a 50 damage (white) one in IB - but it doesn't Did you ever come across a Yellow Vex Minotaur or Hive Knight when you were low level? You couldn't do damage yet they would one-shot you - Now i'm level 29 i'm one-shotting them. Well this is the point that the OP is trying to get across - a lvl 4 player shouldn't be doing anything to a lvl 29 player. This is how Bungie sold the event. If players want a "balanced" PvP then play the crucible, because it is balanced. If you want your gear and level to make a difference then play the IB - The IB feels the same (balanced) as the crucible when it shouldn't be.
