(Edited) Absolute proof Iron Banner is complete bullsh*t!
I was making a new warlock and got through the 4th mission or so. I was level 4 with my friends who are all high level like my main. I decided to test Iron Banner because last night I really didn't see much of a difference playing with my lvl 30, it felt like regular crucible. So I joined up with my friends to play some Iron Banner. I was expecting to walk in and get one shotted with an ankle shot, instead I was baffled at what happened. Watch the video, and let me know what you think.

10 RepliesHonestly, i think the most awful piece of this event is how awful people are at a simple game of control. Its not that complicated: hold two zones and win. Why do people try to get all three and then just end up running into a big circle. Some of the most god awful strategies i've seen have been playing this event so far. Very sad

It looks like you are just getting the lucky last shot in and getting credit for the kill. Finally at around 3:50 you do seem to try and take on a guy looking down out of the building, you hold down the trigger for about 2-3 seconds and you take out his shield and a little bit of his health less than 25% and then you were one shot with a shotgun. At 4:02 you unload your auto-rifle clip for about 4 seconds and you take him down to about 25% health. There does seem to be a difference as it only takes about 1-2 seconds normally to kill someone in crucible with an auto-rifle. It doesn't seem that you can one shot low levels like you might have been expecting but there is a difference.

I think this shows that Bungie is just plain lazy. Taking regular pvp, slapping a new label on it, and churning it out as something else. They must really think the community are idiots and won't figure it out. Rather insulting. Great job posting the video man, keep up the good work.

I am just curious if Bungie thinks that we're stupid at this point? They keep dropping the ball and the playerbase is discovering every mistake that they are making... I mean when they released the Iron Banner did they think that someone would not try to prove it wrong like this? I jokingly brought the Kolhtsov with me into the Banner as a Joke. I wish I had used it to wreck house and look like a boss...cake boss

Between the "level advantages" and people rage quitting The Iron Banner has been a total flop. Hand out bans to people who leave early and make it mandatory to be at least 25 for the banner(not that it really matters).

4 RepliesVideo proof is hard to dispel, Deej will ignore this and in next weeks mailbag tell you about how timberman1426 solo'd a nightfall blindfolded while saving a baby duck and act like we should give a shit. It's bad enough that 2 of the 3 events have been all PVP but then the "PVE" event had PVP bounties and then they nerfed the rewards. I don't hate PVP or it's players but when the same gear and weapons are used in both it puts us at odds because of balance issues. Iron banner is a joke. C'mon man.
