(Edited) Absolute proof Iron Banner is complete bullsh*t!
I was making a new warlock and got through the 4th mission or so. I was level 4 with my friends who are all high level like my main. I decided to test Iron Banner because last night I really didn't see much of a difference playing with my lvl 30, it felt like regular crucible. So I joined up with my friends to play some Iron Banner. I was expecting to walk in and get one shotted with an ankle shot, instead I was baffled at what happened. Watch the video, and let me know what you think.

I have been pretty excited about iron banner coming around but honestly if this is the intended gameplay I am done with this game. It would negate all the reasons I was excited about Destiny PvP.

5 RepliesI've been saying this since yesterday. Iron banner is complete bullshit, and wrongfully advertised. Balance is still there, and needs to be removed completely! ! You don't need to cater to low levels, let them go to the crucible, let us high levels who worked for our gear mash it out. I don't understand what bungie is doing. They are lost. Not to mention the rewards are better in regular crucible

Remember Bungie excuses are like assh*les, everyone's got them and they all stink. Edit: just to add, I really enjoy the game and play it daily so I'm not attacking the game in any way. I just think that video is pretty incriminating that IB is not "as advertised". I'm also not very good at pvp so I've grinded a lot and have raided several times and was hoping being level 28/29 (depending on the gear I'm wearing) it'd give me a bit of a better chance.

I remember how they were telling us that in the iron banner those who do well will be rewarded. I understand why the reward crap is random in the regular crucible but in the iron banner at the very least I thought those who put out would get some recognition for their efforts. So would someone please explains to me why the living -blam!- did I just go 35 kills with a 5.25 k/d and got absolutely nothing, but the guy at the very bottom of my team who had 3 freaking kills and a .3 k/d got the goddamn Ice Pick???????

I was playing Iron Banner with a friend and 4 randoms, we lost and the WORST PLAYER ON OUR TEAM GOT A -blam!-ING LEGENDARY ENGRAM! I don't care if I got one or not, but if you get a negative kd while I go higher than 1.0 and my other friend does the same and you get a reward, that's just a punch in the face.

Deej can you also address the KTO issues that came with the last patch that was suppose to help get rid of it? I never had any issues with the aka kick to orbit during games until after the patch, now I can't even get one crucible match or even one vanguard bounty or story mission finished without getting the ERROR Disconnect every time. Thanks

2 RepliesYou're honestly not doing a lot of damage to him. And getting a good bit of head shots with a fast weapon. The suros, vanquisher, or shadow price would destroy that damage. Plus he wasn't even shooting at you and if he was...he has terrible aim.

Everyone expected that only the best would play Iron Banner. In reality, everyone plays Iron Banner. So you aren't the only low level character in the match. You get people of all skill level in the same game on each time. There will be people you take out easy (new, low level players) and ones that you will never kill (although you may not realize this in-game).

I was in the banner yesterday and someone's cydonia outgunned my nearly fully upgraded hardlight. BS banner. We even shot at the same time and aimed for the head.

Yeah not happy! Bad enough I'm getting wasted with single shots but then I get booted by the franking zebra error! I guess bungee has my money already so no one cares.... Maybe I just need to take time off from destiny and other forced online games. Much respect to all those high level gamers of which I am not but the execs forcing me to play online with less than adequate servers can all bite me!!!

This is crazy and needs to be fixed as quickly if not quicker then the loot cave! I wanted my gear and weapons to mean something after all the effort I put into upgrading them. I don't mind getting my ass kicked in IB if I deserve it from a better skilled and equipped player.
