So the new game Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is pretty sweet, and it's got a lot of new features. Things like the Assassin's Creed-ish combat system (except better and harder) and the new Nemesis system. The Nemesis system works for more than just you nemeses, it works for all Uruk captains and warchiefs.
This is for discussing tactics, ideas, and general Shadow of Mordor-ness. I'll update this when I have more stuff to discuss, feel free to suggest things.
Personally, I wish we could explore a little further beyond Mordor, but Mordor itslelf is amazing! Every once in a while you'll see a flat generated landscape, but the castles, fortresses, and camps look great.
Also, I'm really excited at the prospect of taking down Sauron. I haven't researched it but It seems like we might get to actually fight him.
How do you feel about teaming up with Gollum? Freaks me out personally. I just know he's gonna betray me and try to eat me or something...
What do you think about the Season Pass? Obviously a Season Pass for a single-player game shouldn't happen, but since it did...
I don't plan on getting it right now because the content looks lacking. A couple story missions and some Tests is all. I played a little of the Test of Power (pre-order bonus) and it wasn't that exciting; just regular combat over and over with different nemeses. However, it sounds like they might add to that, and at a price of $25USD (versus $50 like Battlefield or Call of Duty), I might eventually.

I just picked the game up today and can't wait to get off work to play it. I've heard a lot of good things about it. 5 more hours of work can be done anytime now...
