I will keep it short
My hunters not too far along yet but what I have seen so far is hunters are poop in PvE, double jump sucks, and blade dance still wrecks in PvP. havent done gunslinger but i know the deal. triple jump (still worse than glide) and 3 free kills for your Major mobs or a few poor bastards in crucible. and the invis thing sucks, unless youre playing against people with glaucoma.
Played someone elses titan, they seemed decent enough at both. titan strike or whatever is irritating in pvp, kills a ton of shit in pve, and they have the defense bubble thing (in my opinion is just useless and annoying) but still pretty good at both
Warlocks are probably the best class in the game, as both subclasses crush life hard in both pve and pvp.
also vote what you think is best.

Warlocks are made to be easy mode. Play the game like a REAL MAN, MAGGOT.

Titans are the most balanced in both PvE and PvP... Warlocks are balanced in both also... Hunters are great in PvP also, but PvE they lack in... I mean you can golden gun a major and make orbs for a more useful special and help out a titan for a quick Titan Shield (the bubble) or a warlock who tends to go down often, that's about the best the hunter is good for... Personally I don't hate hunters... I just dislike using them... I hate the users who use hunters... I would prefer to hover around and do a big jump into the air and still be able to fire rather then do bunny hops in combat... But I know most hunters are to over confident...

Not one best or worst class each have strengths and weaknesses

They take more skill in pve. Really they just play differently. Warlocks can just come back to life, spam flameshield. Same with Titans and their shield perks. Hunters have invisibility which is extremely useful in Prison of Elders. Gunslinger is basically a glass cannon, and one of the best orb producers if your warlock is saving his self rez. Bladedancer has near infinite invisibility, which makes it the medic class. Note: these classes are not good for camping in a corner, they are best used on the move, using high agility to stay out of harms way and clearing mobs. Titans are support, and warlocks should be either dps to the boss, or orb producers. Self rez anywhere but hard raids is a waste.

Warlocks are far from being the best, but they are the easiest class to use. Their jumps were made so you practically cant miss your destination, your Sunsinger subclass was made so you dont need to worry about dying, and your melee range is ridiculous, damaging a person from a mile away, I mean cmon, seriously. You even have exotics made so you can spam your grenades and melees relentlessly during your super activation.

"..and the invis thing sucks, unless youre playing against people with glaucoma." That's offensive man, my cousin has glaucoma.

Hunters is master race no matter what you say.

Are we voting on the best or worse class

Jesus man what a pathetic bullshit. If you can't handle a hunter play with another character or play aonother game. Don't waste people's time here with your nonsense. Don't talk so tough when your characters are level 30 go and do something about that.

I pick "community manager"...

Hunters are good adept rogues, meaning that they are jacks of all trades. They are good starter characters limited only by their subclass

It has nothing to do with the class, it's all about the player.

Edited by Korean-Lightning: 5/1/2015 4:19:24 PMSimply put, Hunter perks/skills rely on player ability (e.g. Gunslinger's Trance, Chain of Woe, Knife Juggler, Fleet Footed) as well as situational intelligence (e.g. Escape Artist, Shadow Jack, Stalker, Tripmine Grenade). They're the most difficult class to excel with because they don't offer the same AoE supers/grenades the other classes employ. Everyone else has situational skills as well, but no other class relies as heavily upon them to find success in both PvE and PvP. They're better than most classes (with the exception of a fully armored Titan) in 1v1 encounters, and if Hunters have excellent map awareness, their mobility can be annoyingly deadly in the Crucible. I feel more accomplished after using my Hunter (main) in PvP than I do with my Warlock (who gets easy kills with Axion Bolt and a panicnade Super) even though I usually do better with a Warlock. Ultimately, I agree with your assessment that Warlocks are probably the "best" class in that they're the easiest class to find success with (and their Exotic builds synergize amazingly well; Bad Juju + Obsidian Mind is OP as -blam!-). They're the most user-friendly, offering more mobility than the Titan while retaining amazing AoE abilities. When my casual friends jumped on Destiny, the Voidwalker Super was too good for them to pass up and the rest is history. But we all know subclasses/classes don't make the player, so everyone can play how they want. There are just as many clueless Warlocks wandering around as there are Hunters who don't know when/how to stealth kill.

Yea man I'm having the same issue, the damage/defence just isn't there pve. I'm gonna wait to see how essential doing trials of Osiris is going to be before I delete him tho. If it holds all the best end game content I'll be keeping him.

Glide won't get you up when you slip off the edge.

And now, a quote from Billy Madison:
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Triple jump is AMAZING. Everything else is pretty accurate, though XD

I feel like batman using glide:D
-
I don't have one. I main hunter and I love it. I have 1 warlock and he is boss, as are my other warlock brothers. And I tried to have a Titan but I just really honestly sucked with him. But still, Titans, even though I suck, are completely bad ass and are definitely my favorite class.
-
Clearly people say Titans are op and yet on this poll they are the worst.
-
Did you just say that triple jump is worse than glide?
-
There is no "worst class overall" they all have their strengths and weaknesses.
