I will keep it short
My hunters not too far along yet but what I have seen so far is hunters are poop in PvE, double jump sucks, and blade dance still wrecks in PvP. havent done gunslinger but i know the deal. triple jump (still worse than glide) and 3 free kills for your Major mobs or a few poor bastards in crucible. and the invis thing sucks, unless youre playing against people with glaucoma.
Played someone elses titan, they seemed decent enough at both. titan strike or whatever is irritating in pvp, kills a ton of shit in pve, and they have the defense bubble thing (in my opinion is just useless and annoying) but still pretty good at both
Warlocks are probably the best class in the game, as both subclasses crush life hard in both pve and pvp.
also vote what you think is best.

I love these poll results.

I noticed anyone who uses a Warlock and Titan first have a tough time playing Hunters, or don't like them whatsoever.

#HUNTERMASTERRACE - A Master Hunter
to each their own, I've only had Hunters and love them. I'm sure lesser Tardians feel the same type of bond with their Titans/Locks.
I use a hunter and have since day one. I have friends that use warlocks and titans but I'll say this much, I always live the longest in pvp and pve. If I'm the last one left, nobody panics because I can clutch it and save people in nightfall, PoE, and skirmishes. I haven't gotten the hang of elimination or trials yet since they're new to me and everyone's play style seems to be hand cannon+ shotgun rush or two rushers and a sniper, but I'll just have to think up a solid counter as my non 365 weapons put me at a disadvantage and my friends not being as good at pvp doesn't help. I almost want to play on ps3 because I have my brother whom I trained in the world Fps games and therefore work extremely well with (we went undefeated in skirmish, even against a team of network manipulating scum), or an old friend who I used to go in defeated with in the black ops days. I just need to adapt and "git Gud" as they say.

My hunter was the last toon I created, and I love the different play type. Can't stand the bloody warlock with his floating, dress wearing self....

Edited by SEV THE DEV: 8/16/2015 12:30:22 AMthe third subclasses are going to bring a better balance hopefully. nightstalker will be great in pve, another defender bubble quality super. sunbreaker titans will give titans a mobile super(like hunters and warlocks). Stormcaller gives warlocks a mobile super that doesn't rely on grenades and instead has its own attack method. ~Le Soul Gummy~

Nightstalker ought to fix that no problem
-
Maybe you just suck as a hunter cause mine does good in Pve and Pvp
-
I main a Hunter but I'll admit warlock is the most broken and OP class in the game
-
Its just because hunters take most skill, im a day 1 hunter and i still struggle with my supers. You can say they suck, but they're the best class overall. Its your problem if you can't use it, not the classes' fault

You have no room to speak with that moment of triumph scrub

Your doing it wrong

Edited by Phluphy319: 8/16/2015 12:02:58 AMTo be honest I used to think the same thing and now I run my hunter all the time. Pvp they are wrecking machines with arc blade and golden gun and although they are quite squishy in pve they still have their benefits. Invisibility and agility in pve is awesome for res and escape, but their supers do eat balls when it comes to any major. In pvp invisibility keeps you off the radar long enough to get within striking distance and get the first shot / grenade out, also I think everyone who has played crucible has seen their entire team be murdered by a rampaging holden gun or arc blade. I suppose it's all just personal preference though, I enjoy each class, but I tend to favor warlock and hunter.

Invisible is really clutch in prison
-
Gunslinger with celestial nighthawk then gg
-
Just have to adapt playstyles. Then all the classes are relatively balanced. Each class needs some tweaks tho.

Edited by RyoRX7: 8/15/2015 11:59:16 PMLol everyone votes for Hunter as best Edit: Only reason why warlocks are superior (definitely not in the glide/double jump part) is because of stupid firebolt spam, ram, super op melee, and many other things I posted on another warlock fanboys post. No class should be undermined, even though I kind of just did it, but it's a matter of pure opinion.
-
Warlocks are definitely the superior class
-
Hunters jump is way better for dodging bullets in air. Glide is predictable as -blam!-
-
Am i supposed to vote for the class I think is best or worst?
-
This is funny because I'm better and all I have is a weak Hunter
-
Hunter is one of the hardest to use cause were close quarters
-
Hunters have weak supers, but other than that, all classes are pretty equal
