Or has anyone even considered its locked until events happen like when VoG was opened? Just because stuff is on the disc is not substantial proof that this content is locked behind a paywall. I'd reserve further judgement on bungie until a statement comes out. I was already aware of some of this cause you could see mob indicators if you got close enough to the king's watch wall.
Remember how they said this was an evolving world? Does everyone's reasoning just fly south when they find out oh there's locked shit that we can play?
Pretty sure VoG was on the disc when we got it or in the day 1 patch. yet we couldn't see it until a few days before the officially luanched VoG

Why would the content say it requires DLC if it didn't?

But then they'll reply and you'll eat up what they say like it's the honest to god truth. You think they "miscommunicated" the fact purples can give blue or green items? Or the fact the bosses do so much damage, and have so much health!? They had an alpha; people complained. They had a beta; peopleSTILL complained. Suddenly, it's a bug in their side, after a game has been released for nearly a month, it's suddenly being addressed to. I feel like bungie hides and swivels people. Call me paranoid, but I believe issues like this don't simply slip through the door unnoticed.

So they cant change their mind? I kinda liked it, its like gambling but with no real money, i enjoyed playing the game, got some engrams, its just a bonus...Now purple engrams will just be more rare to compensate for the fact that are guarantied purples. So it is basically the same thing.

They obviously can change their mind. It wouldn't be that big of a deal if legendaries weren't already so hard to come by on regular means that aren't raids or nightfall strikes.

That content clearly said "Expansion Required".

Edited by ZeLkory: 9/29/2014 12:55:35 AMEven if it is on the disk, its too keep it away from peeps that burn through it. If the 10 years plan was released all at once, those same peeps would have already finished it and would be whining there is no content.
-
And they'd be making all of the exact complaints about there "not being enough content"/"the game is unfinished"/"there isn't any story"/"wah, wah, wah, waaaaaaah" too. There is just no satisfying some people, they'd whine an bitch and moan no matter what you gave them. Some people spend way too much time on their gaming, honestly, if you're no-lifing it and get to the end of the whole thing and do everything in the game in one day or one sitting, you're doing it wrong.

A lot of the missions had names of dlc and said " expansion required"
