Hi all, I have been in the games industry for 1 year now and I joined for 1 reason, I wanted to revolutionize the games industry and bring it back to what used to be great about games. Destiny has ticked every box for me it is a fantastic game and is so incredibly well made. Before I get to my point I want to back up some of this amazing work destiny has done here. Artificial Intelligence System: The AI in this game is incredible, it has astounded me and it surprises me everyday I play. As this game has a lot of grinding (which I enjoy) I do visit the same area several times, and when doing so I notice the AI changes erratically. For example: I was fighting a bunch of fallen on Venus, defeated the lot and got some loot, hit my start menu to look and when I came back out I saw my motion sensor blip. Moving forward I ran to the blip and found nothing, I thought this was strange so I continued to move on. Moments later I was ambushed by the fallen from all angles so much so that I had to use my super charge just so I wouldn't die. Story: The story I feel was a perfect taste for the start of this game, what I think most people forget here is that this game is not done... look at other games like this when they first came out, Bungie here has far surpassed that and with the you little ghost which was incredibly well voice acted by Peter Dinklage as this attached robot that feels like he is learning not only teaching. I look forward for what else is to come in the story but the Grimoire cards are a great start for me. The only part I would have like to seen different in the story was a small bit more companionship between the Ghost and the guardian, however like I said above, this game is not over. Loot system: The loot system is perfect. It is punishing, rewarding and frustrating, everything a game like this needs. If it was like Diablo and I got rewarded constantly for doing very little, I would have stopped playing several days ago. The fact that you can get loot anywhere randomly at any time is great, if you are like me and are a high level and want to help a low level friend you are not loosing out on anything unlike game like WOW. Don't get me wrong here games like WOW and Diablo are great! But if I wanted to play WOW or Diablo.. I would play WOW or Diablo. So my point here is please people stop asking Destiny to be like other games, do we really want all games to be the same? Now to my main point: Like I said I wanted to join the games industry for 1 reason, to revolutionize games. What does this mean? well I liked the old days where you played a game like Mario 64 for hours on end because there was always more you could do, I liked throwing Halo:CE on legendary and attempting to solo the library. These games that when you completed them you could go to your mates "Hey man I beat all of Halo:CE on legendary Solo" and people would think that was a pretty difficult game. The type of games that if you beat them you were rewarded with bragging rites, and all your friends hated you because you did it first. Now look at Destiny, look at the vault of Glass! That is a beast of a raid, its good that 15 groups didn't beat it on the first day, think about how good it will feel when you finally beat it? Think about how much you had to do, how hard you had to work to get there! I Know it keeps me wanting to play and I hope its the same for you. Please Destiny do not Nerf anything, The loot system is great, the strikes are great the difficulty is rage worthy and amazing. I haven't had this much fun dying repeatedly since I played my brother at the original mortal combats until I finally beat the bugger. The voice acting, amazing and the story is gripping, please keep the game going! And one last Butt kiss from me, if I one day could meet you all and shake your hands I think I would cry because you are already beating me at my own dream. Your company is what keeps me working, keeps me trying to get games and the community back to what is was. Diverse, frustrating and fun. If anyone read this far thanks for reading and please remember that Bungie are people to! P.S. I have read several posts about people saying Bungie should thank the consumer... Ok I kind of see what your saying... but I would rather thank Bungie for restoring faith in games for me again, and giving me enough drive to spearhead into the games industry at such a young age.
