So I love how my guardian looks and all, but later I want to change his hair style for an example. But I can't do that because there is no possible way to change your guardians looks after creating them. It would be cool to add in an option to later change our guardian appearance for a glimmer fee. What you guys think?
Edit: Thanks for your guys comments and and glad that I am not the only one that want this feature in this game. Let's get more comments so Bungie can see this!
Edit: You can change your hair, markings, etc but not your race and gender for sure! That will defeat the purpose. I got this from all of feedback from you guys and thanks for all of the support and comments!
Edit: If this would be in the game, there would be a barber shop place you can go to in the tower. Also we also want to rotate our guardian while creating them so we can actually see what they look like. Once again this is based on your guys comments and support!
Edit: More ideas bases on your guys feedback. It would be cool if we have more customization for Destiny. Not enough customization, so it would be nice in new hairstyles, marking, and of course facial hair (beards).
Edit: Halfway there! I also see though that the this trend is dying so please keep this trend going so Bungie will hear you guys voice!

I would definitely like this, hopefully bungie will add this in an update.

This and they should make the character creation lighting match the tower's lighting. Or allow us to turn the character around in the creation screen could have helped too.
-
yes they need this cause i created a character got to the tower and i screwed up my looks so i created a new character and i lost the blacksmith shader and red sparrow dlc
-
While I agree with all of this, I personally don't even think that character changes like hair and changing your armor should be expensive at all.
-
Bungie eluded to adding beards. Sorry I don't have a reference. They also mentioned figuring out how our guardians will access that since these guardians will not be sacrificed to Bungie like Betas. This should usher in all your desires... maybe.

Not a bad idea
-
Why didn't I think of this?
-
Yes, especially with the Exo's. I mean, they're damn robots, they should be able to be refigured
-
NEEDED! When messing with the lip color in the character editor it looked fine.... till the cutscenes happened an looked way out of place.
-
Yes. Being able to hide the helmet would be great.
-
Couldn't agree more
-
I agree. My Exo looked sick in the creation menu then got to the tower and it looked like a psychopatic killer clown with a joker-like smile. It does look kinda cool but was not my intention lol
-
This wouldn't be all that difficult to implement via an npc/menu at the tower, and it would fill one of the numerous empty spots that feel like they're waiting for something..
-
This !
-
Agreed. Hair is an odd thing to leave as a permanent choice.
-
-
Maybe even have a transmog station where you can choose the look of your favorite armor (like in wow or diablo)
-
I can definitely agree I kinda rushed doing my guardian and I forgot to change my hair color. So having this feature would be a blessing. Also I thought they were adding beards...
-
I was originally against the idea, but having played the game now my character looks horrendous. I would say it's my fault but when the lighting is a day/night difference to that of the Tower, I believe now that there should be an option. A barber, plastic surgeon and whatnot I believe should be there but I would also like it to be an expensive service for glimmer (say, 2k? That's expensive for me at lv.15 so no idea if it's much later on). PS: I can tell you for free that you'll need more than 100 comments/vote-ups to get Bungie to think twice about keeping this situation the way it is. Not a criticism, I'm just saying. ^^
-
This should have been in the game from the start
-
completely agree. My friends and I were talking about this exact topic last night.
-
Yes, please! This! I don't want to have to start all over just to change up my hair :D
-
Yea. Because there is a mouse like cursor used to navigate menus, I accidentally went to far to the left and clicked finish so my character isn't how I want him to look at all. Maybe it's just my fault though lol

Edited by REAPERCON66: 9/10/2014 6:20:42 PMI completely agree. I wanted to change the colors on my hunter and yeah... about that... #makeithappenbungie

I agree

This would be awesome. Also I would like to change between Exo to human or vise versa. I accidentally left one of those scars on my character face at the begining of the game and now he looks a little.... Non educated.
