I feel like a Guardian is easier to recreate than a Spartan, so I might be tempted to join the effort. I've wanted to start building gear from Halo forever, but Destiny seems to be coming close to a match for Halo in my heart. We'll see.

I was was exactly the same. Hunter is much easier than Spartan.

To be fair it was space age super armor v.s. Scavenged space armor. there is a lot more cloth in the hunter and with the amount of armor variants in the game you can mix and match creating some "simple" yet badass armor.
