Since I made a Personal Hell thread, what would be in your paradise? Would it be a replica of this world except with no problems? Could your paradise include material items? Maybe seeing one of your loved ones again? I'm curious, delve into your deepest thoughts and tell me. What is your paradise?

Mine would be living a good life with no cares other than my family's needs not having to worry about money ever again. I'd probably want several beautiful women included that would live an immortal life none of us ever aging beyond our twenties, and living on a beautiful island with white sand beaches, palm trees, and water so clear you could see all the beauty of the sea creatures swimming around the vibrant colored corral reefs. I wanted to be an oceanographer but ended up an over taxed peon slave to the government.

A infinite realm that is like the bolivian salt flats.

People realize there's no God focuses on immortality through biomechanics transcendence boom

My paradise: a place like Colorado or Wyoming with infinite snow trails and slopes. There would be infinite race track all over the mountains and my own personal 10 car garage next to my house. The sun would shine for half the day and the snow would stay powdery and soft. I would have an Olympic sized heated pool along with a jacuzzi next to my house. I'd also have a huge shooting range and infinite wild life to hunt. Finally, my true love/ future wife would be waiting there at the end of the day, with dinner and wine...under a borealis lit sky where all the stars and galaxies would shine. I hope to actually build a place like this someday in the mountains. But on a smaller scale of course.

The ability to feel good. That'd be... nice.

Owning my own planet with subjects that I rule over like a god.
-
Living in Firenze, Italy, with my girl.
-
a universe where FTL was possible
-
A house made like an apple store, white, clean, high tech, simple, with a 60 inch 1080p fat screen and a white Xbone, wiiu, ps4, and a high end gaming PC, my girlfriend would be there and it would be on the moon
-
A cabin in the wilderness, or a bathroom made of glass on a cliff overlooking the ocean
-
A giant garage filled with all of my favorite cars. Then next to that garage would be infinite miles of racetrack. That is paradise to me.
-
A video game that I play with my mind. I could do anything I wanted.

I think my personal paradise is simply the future of our civilization. Our modern world right now feels like its in limbo between historical tradition and technological advancement. It'd be nice to jump in the future a couple centuries and see what its like.

Edited by Sarah: 9/6/2014 7:48:36 PMMy paradise is immortality or omnipotence. A preferable location would be something like The Grid from Tron: Legacy. An endless empty location, at first, where I can do what I want. Spawn trees, form rivers, raise mountains. A real or virtual sandbox realm to play in. Anything in there can be done, except break the paradise. But that would mean everything is made by me. I want to explore. So unless there's a randomise ability I'll need a location that is already determined. Back to omnipotence again. If I could travel through this existence that would be my paradise. I would visit every planet, every moon, every star.

first it would be a place where we have healthy minds and bodies. my paradise would have people who had the ultimate goal of knowledge over any other pursuit. there would be no such thing as jealousy and greed. as such, monogamy was something that was important enough to be between souls, but not diminished to including simple sexual gratification. the climate would be warm, with rain every day. we would all choose to hunt and gather for our food and/or grow our crops. this paradise would be undiscovered...and much would await the explorer. and though the ultimate goal and pursuit would be knowledge we would value nothing more than liberty. there would be lots of laughter and infrequently crying. work would be something shared by all and thus less work for everyone. there are no taxes in this paradise, just personal responsibility. progeny would be considered a unique gift and not a choice to relieve boredom in people's lives.

Edited by Leo687: 9/6/2014 5:03:20 PMMy personal paradise? Being able to physically live inside any universe and be who ever I wanted. Imagine jumping to the Halo universe and getting inside S117's armour to take on the covenant/flood etc. Then with a mere gesture jumping to the GTA universe, crysis, fable, bioshock, battlefield. Literally any game you want or can imagine. (Also includes graphics as good as real life no lag frame drop or power supply issues lol)

A nice little house on the Scottish coast with a stable Internet connection. Or maybe on those little islands near Ireland.
