I bought an electric deep fryer which I haven't used yet. My kitchen is small and full of shit so I'm gonna use it in the garage. I like to cook in the garage cause it can be relaxing. You know if it's safe?

Ok so I had some chicken tenders sitting in milk, I heated up the deep fryer to 350 degrees, I was using corn oil. I dipped the chicken in season flour. When the ready light went on I put the chicken in the basket and then lowered the basket in the oil. When I pulled the basket out the chicken was sticking to the basket. How do I make sure it doesn't happen again?
