You know what's funny? Only pompous PC players gave themselves that title. I bought my $400 gaming box KNOWING it wasn't a PC. But I don't give a damn. I got a gaming box because I don't want to upgrade it every year or two. And you CANNOT bash on consoles for being weak because guess what? It's NOT a PC. These PC Mustard Race people are ripping on motorcycles for not being cars. But they're both vehicles. Be glad people have a PS3 or an X1. Because in my opinion, it's better they play on a 360 or PS4 than a commodore 64.

Most people who have consoles also have PCs. So its more like buying a car to go the store and a car for work when you can just buy a single car and save money.

Upgrade every one to two years? I have a 4 year old gaming pc that runs skyrim and Arma 2/3 at max and I haven't upgraded a thing. It just comes down to your gaming and tech knowledge to build a proper machine and not a store bought p.o.s.

PS4/X1 use PC x86 architecture. They're essentially "Baby's first PC".
