It would be cool and possible that half of the random players in explore missions would be able to engage in combat. This can occur naturally, but to avoid grieving it could simply be setup as a public event, or use a public event to divide the group evenly. So, after the public event is complete, a one life PvP is started, then when done friendly fire is turned off.

That might not really fit in with the over all theme off things outside of the tower though. In PvP we're fighting for reputation and our guilds, in a sort of training type deal. In PvE, we're all part of the same side fighting for survival against enemies and darkness

Maybe have an option to turn it on and once it is on you get sent to an explore server with pvp enabled

I'd be ok with this only if it wasn't able to be abused for weapon swapping or acting like a trade system rather then a PvP element. Thus, have this idea... but make it so nothing can be gained besides a "W" statistic.
