Sadly, I'm addicted to making everything match on my character at all times. Having said that and not really knowing much about how shaders work, I'd like to make a suggestion.
- The weapons and armor preview squares need to be tweaked ever so slightly to resemble the actual item (ie: camo patterns and colors).
This is SUPER nit-picky and a complete PITA for artist devs to overhaul, but it would be awesome to visually tell the differences between my weapons/armor in my inventory, rather than having to cursor over them and preview them. I know you guys wanted to accomplish this with name distinction (cuz damn, y'all went crazy with how many different names there are!) and you even have a preview function of the items with their own back screen BUT!
A more accurate preview of a preview would be excellent!
Sincerely,

I actually agree man, and honestly I don't think it is as nit-picky as you might think. On one side I had leggings that the little preview was blue but the actual armor was red and vice versa. While it doesn't matter in the end of game play, its like showing different weapons skins on your guns. If I saw leggings one color I was looking for that were the same stats of the ones I already had, which happened alot, I got excited at first, but then after a while I was just like what ever its probably not even close to that color. Its false representation, and just isn't correct. Now with that said, I rather see other things implemented first that are more important, but i do agree with you.
