I'll be honest with you here. I have followed bungie since the beginning, and I still do. I have both the playstation and the xbox. I have always held a preference to xbox, and still do. I will be getting Destiny for Xbox and beta for playstation (due to obvious reasons). I can agree that considering playstation 4 got alpha that xbox getting a halved isn't necessary and a bit harsh to the xbox fans. We don't know what happens in the offices of bungie and activision. I am sure there is money changing hands, as a publisher activision invests in bungie's product and in turn bungie gives activision a share of the profits after release. I am an xbox player, I don't feel like Bungie has turned its back on me. I don't feel betrayed like you guys do. I happily welcome the playstation fanbase to the journey with bungie. They have missed out on over a decade of Halo since it was exclusive to xbox. I will agree that at this point continuing to add exclusive content, timed or permanent is a bit excessive. Welcome aboard to the PS fans, but lets not let the welcoming gifts get out of hand. I think Xbox should be allowed in at the same time to beta as the playstation since playstation is getting the exclusive content, they got the alpha, etc. However, I am not going to get bent out of shape if they don't. Come september will it really matter how much beta time we had once we are all kicking alien butt in the name of humanity? Will it really matter that playstation got alpha? Will it really matter that playstation gets some content that will be out-geared fairly quickly given the track record of day 1 exclusives. This war between xbox and playstation needs to come to an end, for in the end, nothing you battle over will matter in the long term. We have a decade of destiny ahead of us, so let us not spoil it with meaningless battle against one another. Let us save our anger for the enemy, let us use our rage to fuel our war against the enemies of humanity. Let us unite to push back the darkness. Our ghosts brought us back for a reason, and battling among ourselves was not that purpose.
