So many times I have been reading a wikipedia page about.....lets say...history and end up with about 10 tabs waiting to be looked at which all link to subjects I know I'll find interesting which leads to another 3-4 tabs.
I could spend hours just reading.

Time you enjoy wasting isn't time wasted.
-
Yeah I end up just reading a lot of it until I snap outta it
-
See, it either ends up just reading endless interesting articles, or doing wikipedia races with friends. Ex: start on ebola and make your way to Kanye West or something, and see who can do it first
-
I bet I can guess what your Wiki tabs are about.

To fully understand an article on Wikipedia, one must read all the linked articles in that article. Therefore to successfully read the Light article one must first read and/or understand the basics of the Electromagnetic radiation, Visual perception, Human eye, Wavelength, Nanometre, Infrared, Ultraviolet light, Intensity, Frequency, Wavelength, Spectrum, Polarization, Speed of light, Mathematical constant, Photon, Wave, Particle physics, Wave-particle duality, Optics, Physics articles (and more).

Not really, but it happens with tvtropes for me.
-
Hell yeah.
-
Pretty easily, although recently I've found myself having 15+ tabs of music on Youtube open. And let's not even get started on TV Tropes.
-
Nah More like YouTube Ooo That related video looks interesting
-
I usually play a hopscotch paddy-whack with Wikipedia, clicking into one page after another.
-
If I look up something on Wikipedia (especially if it is quantum physics or something) I usually have a bunch of tabs open to try to understand all the new terms.
-
It's very easy; the Hitler game is pretty fun too.

THAT AINT KANYE THATS MONTANA

Edited by SexyPiranha: 7/6/2014 1:51:35 AMI can easily kill several hours with 9-10 tabs open, mostly theoretical physics and cosmology. That and the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy.
-
History, huh? Let me guess, it's your glorious british empire right?
-
When I was busy trying to kill time at school, I could easily spend 5-6 hours just reading tabs on everything from Dolphin brain structure to chemical compositions of whatever medicine came to mind <.< Having a reduced timetable with compulsory attendance days was... dull...
-
Same here, I love reading web articles about scientific/historical information.
-
I don't go on the Wiki much. Only when I'm proving someone wrong or something. Reading in general? I usually set goals. For example, I would start reading at chapter one, and depending on if I'm tired or not, I'd read until chapter ten.

-
Same. I have several bookmarked pages that I still haven't looked at.
-
Staring at a computer screen for too long strains my eyes, so I can't say I've ever done this.

Edited by Alphy : 7/5/2014 10:33:12 PMVery easy. I can go from skeletons to trains to lightning to Soviet Union somehow But I usually only read interesting parts or look at the pictures lol.
