The PSTV doesn't actually allow you to watch TV, people. It's basically a way to play Vita games on your TV + stream media-- an Roku box that plays much better games. Based on the hype this thing had when first announced, I'm surprised it didn't do better in Japan. They didn't even have plans to bring it to the States, so I wonder what made them change their minds; it's not like the OUYA has proven there's a market for microconsoles, or that the Vita has been a huge success. Since this is basically a streaming box, it seems like it wouldve been smarter to release it alongside some PlayStation programming and PS Now. Until then, it's not really good enough for gamers or... Netflix watchers.
