Hell no! Seeing as they'd over-laden the troops with equipment just to get on the beach when I myself am not physically trained in any way, machine gun nests aiming for the sardine-packed landing craft, not to mention the mines, barbed wire, lack of armoured support... The list could go on. The only way I could survive was if I was on one of the battleships as a chef or something.
