Dude the Romans and Greeks followed a polytheism through their entire existence and then Romans heard of Catholicism and said "well gotta do what ya gotta do to stay hip" and Greeks I dunno but they were the longest polytheism in existence
-
You realize that Romans were polytheistic, so that basically goes directly against what you argued with that comment...
-
Jewish history=the Torah The Romans never met god.

Yes they did they crucified him

Edited by Nemo: 4/20/2014 8:06:26 PMThey crucified Jesus, who was essentially a travelling monk. The only source that says Jesus Christ has any powers at all is the Bible, but there's nothing to prove otherwise. Hell, I heard they found the cave they put Jesus in. With Jesus in it. This was my exact reaction while reading this. People get into the stupidest arguments just to pass time lol

The proplem is that though we have evidence that Jesus was real, we have no evidence he was the son of any god, don't think I don't believe cause I do, though you need to consider the other persons argument to improve your own.

the REAL problem is that people can easily disprove (and try to quickly I might add) in hundred of ways, things that were said/believed but in reality, no one can actually PROVE anything.. whether God does or Doesnt exist. Every bit of evidence is always there to say "you or your belief was wrong" and no matter how many stories of miracles there are, or personal accounts of paranormal or heavenly activity, as well as how much people can prove of a course of evolution or a non-existent afterlife... there will always be two sides and they will always disagree. I believe, but I can argue so much easier and logically against my own belief than I can to support it. But I don't ridicule people for their beliefs, that's the difference. If there's a heaven, a creator, then I made the right choice, if not, well I still lived happy. But when people try to ridicule my belief is almost seems like they are wanting an answer and hate that on the inside they are living for absolutely nothing and probably semi-scared. At least that's how some feel I know.

Show me a historical source of this that isn't the bible.
