My dad was my big influence. He always had a cool car, or something unique when I was growing up. I was always around cars. We went to a lot of shows, and other events. My dad's has had about 100 cars in his life and most of them were cool in some way. My favorite was his 1970 Cutlass, which looks very similar to the one in this picture. My dad got me into cars, what got you into them?

Edited by DesticleStomper6: 4/9/2014 3:27:22 AMI had a childish interest when I was a child if you will. I saw the fast and furious movies, and played need for speed and the midnight club video games. I had an interest in such cars but never got into it as to open up the hood and tell what's what and stuff I just mostly looked at "sporty" cars and thought man that looks awesome wish I had that car for myself. Never got much deeper into other than wanting to drive or race a fast/nice looking car. Then a couple of years through my teens went where I pretty much lost interest and got into other things.. But then, just last year, I got my first car for a birthday present. I was excited to have the car that I got. I was eager to drive it. Eager to drive it around and have people notice. Soon I began to become curious about how everything worked under the hood and what not. I needed to since the car needed some money put into it. I also took notice of people who modified they're own rides and became curious of learning what and why they did that and thought of doing that to a car of my own (not the one I currently own). I began to apply this newfound knowledge and interest to other cars besides my own. I'm still learning about stuff here and there but my knowledge of these machines have greatly improved since before I got my first car. And there you go. My interest was always there rooted in my childhood. It just needed to be reawakened.
