The point was raised in HM Rob's thread, in a strange manner that didn't work so well.
So here's a direct question for the atheists of Secular Sevens; what would it take for you to become a Christian?

Well, The Bible is just so plainly contradictory and false that there's no way God or Jesus is real. But, for the sake of this post, I would have to receive DIRECT evidence of a higher power to believe in that religion.

Look, I'm atheist, so don't mistake this for a conversion attempt. But! The reason why the bible could be contradictory is that it isn't God's book, but rather, man's interpretation of Gods book (obviously only new testament here). Rumor has it that there's a document that had the "lions share" of Jesus quotes, and that the other books are interpreting it. It's like two historians coming to two different conclusions over the same source, even though the source isn't contradictory. Again, I'm not Christian, but a common document would explain why there's contradictions are also how when testaments written in very different places still maintain the same quotes. So find this book wouldn't exactly solidify anymore evidence of Christianity, it could put the bible into more understandable terms.
