Why does everyone hate Karen Traviss again?
I really don't get it.
I understand that she ended up putting Halsey in an evil light basically screwing her over, but then again, that was likely one of 343i requirements (thats why shes on infinity in spartan ops).
Apart from that, the kilo five books are some of my favourite out of all the halo books.
So why do you guys dislike them,

30 RepliesMost dislike them because they see only one side in the novel. And it definitely appears that way. All of Humanity we see is ONI. All of the Elites we see are Religious redneck countryside extremists who can't build barns All of Halsey we see is she's terrible. It's so frustrating because when you only see one side of something, it feels like you're getting that view shoved down your throat. Other than that, some people just plain don't like her writing style, and she refused to research Halo at all before writing K5, digging herself a grave with continuity errors.
