Okay, so like, how far is a foot? I'm not talking about the actual measurements.
For example, when someone says "a few feet away", how far is that really? I am shit at judging distance. Could someone please describe how far it would be away? Maybe with a picture?
In the attached picture, is the girl on the far right still a 'few feet away' from the guy on the far left? Or is that too far? What would be the range? If is too far away, what are some words I could use to describe the distance between them? (Might be hard to judge distance in that picture as there is no background

Just imagine that they said the thing was a few yards away, then divide by three. Problem solved.
