"War is a science." That was hint he personally gave me all those months ago.

It's an atom. The white dot is the nucleus and the black dots are electrons. Not sure the actual element means anything but if it dose the element is krypton based of of the number of electrons.
-
Nice guess, but you're looking at it from the wrong perspective: War is a science. Not: War is science.
-
Hmm it also looks like the center of a poppy. So a reference to the Flanders field and is their for a reference to WW1. The first war to see the use of poison gas and tanks. It was the lack of adjustment to the scientific advances of the time that made it such a horribly bloody war.

You're starting to go both in the correct direction and the incorrect direction. Think of what will be, not what was.
-
Is it symbolizing that in the future scientific advancement will surround the soldier yet at the center of all the technology their will always be a human element. Kind of like master chief in his armor.

The avatar icon represent the logo of the Forces of the City, commonly called the FOTC. It's supposedly the group that runs the Guardians. They make weapons and ships and such.
-
Hmm cool. I like my theories better than the reality.
-
Yeah, well I want to be a private investigator pirate wizard keyblade master dragon-slayer super soldier space explorer, but we can't all have our way now can we? I'll just stick to being a private investigator and you keep theorising, I'll do that too but you can go wild.
-
You have fun with that.

Edited by Jeff009: 10/24/2013 4:49:23 AMWell in my feeble attempt of googling "war is a science" to discover the answer I found out that it is the name of a song from the play Pippen. It was a entertaining song too.
-
It's Pippin. Decent musical. It may or may not hold some secrets.
-
Now I've read the entire plot of the musical, I feel like there might be a connection that I'm missing. Even more so when I learned Pippin's father is Charlemagne.
-
What it actually is is the symbol of the Forces of the City, better known as the FOTC.
-
I knew that :)
-
+1 for you.
-
Yay thanks!
-
Is it many protect one or something along those lines? The grey being the many guardians protecting the one white dot city.
-
It's 7x7 dots. The black dot is supposedly supposed to represent the Tower in the Last City (the FOTC/Guardian HQ).
-
I knew I'd seen it somewhere
-
But why is that the symbol for the forces of the city?
