10:00 "Time to go" Rain grabbed his jacket and opened his dormitory door, which led into the crowded hallway. Many other guardians on the level had to go to the same meeting as Rain, and apparently, all decided to take the elevator. Rain had anticipated this, so, he started making his way through the bustling crowd to the end of the hallway. He was making his way through, shifting himself to the left and right to get through the colorful commotion. Eventually, he got to the end of the hall. He opened the door, and looked over at the railing on the observation deck. Rain walked over to it and leaned over the edge, "Not as long of a drop as I thought". Rain then put his right foot up on the Railing and pulled himself to a standing position. "Hey! What are you doing?!" Rain turned and saw the girl he had met a few hours before; Ayra. Rain just smiled and dropped off the ledge.
He was falling, fast. Rain held out his arm's to steer himself as he fell. He spun around and saw the auditorium floor where the meeting was, he focused and flash-steped towards the exposed staircase that led down to the auditorium. One second he was in mid-air, the next he was hanging on for dear life on the staircase railing. After he gathered his strength, he pulled himself up, landed firmly on the staircase, and pulled up his hood and mask. Rain walked down the stairs, and saw the giant room where the meeting took place. Guardians were coming in from the elevator, and escalator, and many others were already in their seats. Scanning over the seating options, Rain saw three seats smack in the middle of the room. It seemed like a good place to sit so, Rain started walking towards it. Rain then noticed an Awoken going to those seats as well. Rain quickened his pace, and he got there first. He took the seat in the middle right as The awoken sat down to Rain's left. Rain looked over at the awoken, and he was staring at Rain with a dumb smile on his face. "What are you looking at?" Rain inquired. "Just lookin' at your outfit, it's very strange", The awoken replied. Rain Put his right foot on his left knee. "You're a terrible liar", he said. "Oh, sorry, Vahlon Valiant, Titan, and who might you be?" Rain grunted, crossed his arm's, and looked in the other direction. That's when he saw Ayra walking towards him. She sat down in the seat on Rain's right, and gave him a cold stare. "What the HELL?! were you thinking!?" she said. Rain was surprised with this way of saying 'hello'. "Why does it matter to you princess?" Even though she couldn't see it, Ayra could tell that Rain was smiling behind his mask, so she punched him. Rain didn't even flinch. Vahlon was watching the whole thing over Rain's shoulder, he leaned over to Rain and said; "I think she likes you" Rain responded with; "You don't say?"
Feedback came through the loudspeaker and then a loud monotone voice said: "Guardians, may you please direct your attention to the stage, the assembly is about to begin." Rain adjusted his posture and looked over at the stage. The Guardian Prime was on stage, he had his iconic long red cape and silver body armor on, He stood up straight and spoke in a loud and proud voice: "Welcome guardians! I apologize for you having to wait so long for your orders, but first you must understand this. The responsibility placed in you cannot be taken for granted, you are the first and last line of defense of this city and all of it's inhabitants..." Rain ignored the supposed 'epic speech' and thought about what he was going to do as soon as he got out of here. He was going to go get his armor, weapons, ship, and fire team and head to Veins. Eventually, after almost an hour they were dismissed, Rain immediately walked by Ayra, and headed for the elevator before someone else could get there. He passed by all sorts of people, and even shoved a few of them out of the way to get to the elevator. Rain got there first and hit the big "A" button that led him up to the Armory. Unfortunately for Rain, Vahlon had SOMEHOW gotten through the crowd of hundreds, and jumped in the elevator at the last second. "He-he-hey there!" Vahlon was out of breath. "So, uh... I never caught your name?" Rain looked over at Vahlon, he was a pretty tall, very physically fit, and had short white hair. "Was that a question or statement?" Rain said. "Okay, let me re-phrase, what is your name?" Vahlon asked. "Rain" he responded. Vahlon looked confused, "Rain? that's not your real name is it?" Rain laughed, "No, my parents named me Rain, of course it's not my real name dumb ass." The elevator doors opened into the armory, it was a MASSIVE room, with a ship hangar on the right, with lockers and armor kiosks on the left, and an Exo manning a weapons desk next to a long hallway. "Hello gentlemen!" the Exo said. Vahlon waved at him and said; "good morning sir!" Rain walked over to an armor Kiosk, and flipped the big machine on.
After a few minutes, Vahlon walked over to Rain holding a large revolver, "So Rain, quick question." he said. Rain pressed a button on the computer and the kiosk shifted into a shape that Rain could step into. "What are you exactly?" Rain was about to step into the machine, but Vahlon's question stopped him. "Well, Vahlon. i'm a lot of things i guess, but there's one thing i'm not, I ain't a Judas." The machine closed around Rain just as he finished his sentence.
