Since I'm a Senior in HS, I have begun to think about career fields that I might want to pursue. Obviously, I am considering the military. However, I think it might also be good for me to branch out my interests. Recently, I have become more and more interested in medical careers. Specifically, OB/GYN and Pathology (the latter of which seems to be an odd career field, given my sex) really call out to me as being particularly interesting. In one, you're helping women give birth and stay healthy. In the other, you're diagnosing diseases and stuff. I could see myself living a relatively fun and fulfilling life doing either.
What careers are you guys in/pursuing, and why did you choose that path?

I actually just got a job as a Respiratory Therapist at a major hospital. Basically we take care do pulmonology and general anaesthesia as well as general cardiac care. We also work in out patient clinics by measuring lung efficiency and teaching people how to cope with asthma. There's a bit to do for every type of person. If emergency care sounds exhilarating and fast-paced and that's up your alley, you can do it. (Yeah , this totally includes life flights).
