One of Garchomp's main uses is it's speed and attack power. Hit 'em fast and hard.
Now we get Mega Garchomp. It has decreased Speed, but increased Attack and Special Attack.
How do you feel about this change? Is the boost to ATK and SP ATK worth the Speed sacrifice?

Mega Lucario and Mega Charizard Y are still the best, IMO.

Mega Lucario will be one of the most used mega-evos. Big increase in attack, special attack and speed, a little in defence. Now has the ability Adaptability which makes stab moves x2 instead of x1.5. Others include mega alakazam which has insane special attack and speed, mega gengar which gains the ability shadow tag (prevents evemy switching) and alot of others. Some do suck compared to the originals though.

At this point, it might just be best to use choice band on him still.

Edited by G7kherc: 10/16/2013 5:05:14 PMYou do realize you don't have to use the mega stone/evolution. I don't like how the mega form looks anyway. Platinum design looks the best or D/P if not Platinum. Anyway. No. It's not a good sacrifice IMO because my level 100 Garchomp is designed to be precisely quick and deadly if I recall correctly. Oh and Master Chief Mega Tyranitar sucks! The design is so weird and odd. It doesn't really fit Tyranitar, I wish Tyranitar didn't, yes didn't get a mega evolution!

I'm still upset Flygon didn't get a mega evolution. If there was any Dragon type that deserved a mega evolution, it was Flygon.

Mega Tyranitar kills all.

Just went and looked at a list of Pokemon that have mega evos, and Dragonite wasn't on it. What the -blam!-. Manectric, Ampharos, Abomansnow, Nanette! And no Dragonite. You'd think that all of the psuedo-legendaries would have mega evos. But only Tyranitar and Garchomp got em. Dragonite is still my favorite Pokemon.

Does it get a new ability?
