I recently received an email from Bungie to give some info about myself for the User Research and followed the link, but when I came to my email address, I attempted to change it to an account I'm moving certain types of things to and forgot that my Xbox gamertag was linked to another account (which I have now changed it to on Bungie.net). I received an error about how my gamertag did not match the email address I'd given and was unable to login without creating an account. I had to use my PSN ID to log back into Bungie.net, but it essentially created a new account with my original display name here and now it shows I've only been a member since today. Does it really matter or is there a way to undo all of this?

Hey there Slowjocrow, To my knowledge there isn't anything that will reset your account like the behavior you are describing. A few things to make sure to know the distinction between is your Bungie.net User Profile, and Authentication account types. The first being Slowjocrow, and the latter being what you use to sign into Bnext with. If you want everything to be associated with your original Bungie.net User Profile, you'll need to follow the steps here. As far as your profile, the only thing that matters about having your new account is that your tenure is reset to the new join date (as it is associated with the Bungie.net User Profile, and not any of your Auth Accounts types.) Hope that helps, -NIS
