Does Bungie take their fans for granted?
It's weird thinking about how favoring Bungie is being toward the PS4 and the PlayStation community. Did they forget that 100% of their real, already established fan-base is of the community and system they're paying less attention to?

What are you guys not understanding Bungie is trying to cover all bases when it comes to the gaming industry this is the first game bungee has made for PlayStation so it doesn't know PlayStation specs stop saying that bungee is catering to the PlayStation owners we're just the lab rats

11 RepliesYou know, Bungie was a Mac developer before an xbox developer. These "real" Bungie fans you're talking about love Bungie games, regardless of platform. Rather than say that Bungie takes its fans for granted, I'd say that Bungie treats its fans like adults who won't get all butthurt when they mix it up a bit. And this time around they aren't even getting rid of xbox support. You're still getting the game on xbox. They are just also expanding to playstation. If you want to count yourself among the "real" Bungie fans, be glad that more people will get to experience Bungie games.

I've been with Bungie every step of the way since Combat Evolved and I've made the switch this generation to the PlayStation. Some of their "100% real and already established fan-base" has made the same decision I have, so do us and yourself a favor by cutting the whining and bitching over the most trivial thing you could, but acting like we're not even a demographic.

18 RepliesWell to educate the OP real fast. Bungie catered to xbox fans for 10 years. PS has not had a game since ONI. I think it's time they get some Bungie love. Destiny is on xbox so no they don't favor the PS guys they are just expanding the fan base. Business 101 OP.

Hey Reach had a damn good story, and a decent multiplayer it was soem experimentign around think of it as a pre, Destiny Alfa As for there fan base, I semi Agree, I get it there trying to intruduce it to a new fan base, but they are playing it way to hard, the xbox neads allitle love Bungie look early beta acess by a weak is nothing, settle down... Id be more woried about that Playstation exclusive content waved at E3.

I have noticed that Bungie has completely ignored Xbox and Microsoft all together, probably because of business opportunities. Now that they're multi-platform, they have the chance to get twice as many fans and twice as many sales.

6 RepliesBungie started with the Mac and PC. Then they were going for all consoles but MS bought them out due to an error on a million disks. So they made Halo that was great for X-box. Now they have freedom again to go multiconsole. Fans from the Myth Oni era would like to see Bungie return to the PC one day. Who can say when Destiny hits as that will depend on allot of factors. Bungie has not said no to PC just not yes for Destiny. I expect Destiny to be a fantastic game. Bungie fans know they are getting quality yet if you look at the faces who make the game they are smart dedicated and passionate. Many of the studios 400 plus work long hours to make sure that they get it right and its a game they want to play. We as the fans should welcome new members here on B.Net and be open minded. Each of us were new here once. Assumptions can be made that PS fans can be arrogant about they are getting the better end of the Deal but a true Bungie fan wants to have a good time here on B.Net and what ever console they play on. The reason Bungie is great is that the Staff are fans in of themselves. Many of whom were just like you and me. For me i know that they put blood sweat and tears into each game. People never see that just the final product. They do not see the regrets or those last few fixes. Bungie fans understand all of this thus it matters not what the games come out on. Reach i am playing again and its a fantastic game. Right now i am doing campaign. It seems OP you have not been here long enough to make such judgement calls. -True Bungie fans never die we only Multiply. 7th Column leading the way!.
