One of my main problems with creator religions is that science has shown us that the world really didn't need a creator, thus making those religions obsolete.

But anyway, scientists have proposed credible hypotheses on how the universe could have emerged from nothing and as science has been pealing off the religigous explanations for the last three centuries, I don't see how this one should be any different.

For evolution, theory is more fact than fiction, for the big bang, its the same, but the period prior to the BB event, is pretty much unknown and tons of theories abound, im sure figuring out the BB in depth will help to resolve that issue.
