Just want to say ahead of time, this is my thoughts on those that enlist in the service, and for those that get put on Death Row, i'd like to hear if my views are terribly extreme, not bad, or not extreme enough. This was in response to someone saying how bad America is in terms of the soldiers we have in the service, and how greedy we as a nation are, rate what you think of my response i'm curious.
"1. Greed is in all of us, even if you don't believe in Religion, it's still a cardinal and true sin, we're not exclusive to it.
2. Soldiers aren't all instantaneously corrupt and bloodthirsty, some sign up to insure in their own mind that their children or family will grow up safe. Others do it because they have nowhere else to turn with no family or friends, but will still have a job and income, it's a last resort. Then there are myriads of other reasons that people enlist, only a portion of those people enjoy getting away with free murder, but there are still rules and regulations that insure those that do kill get justice themselves, they don't have a license to kill.
3. There are some people that don't deserve to still walk along all the others in a civilization, and we made Death Row and such for those people. I sometimes condone a person should be killed and removed from the planet when they commit a heinous crime against another person, but a lot still don't, and should be locked away from the rest of the public for their safety(i edited this to make it more understandable.)"

First is a problem but don't say "sin" It red flags it, second is obviously right, third is iffy, I'm on the fence

I agree, for the most part. The death penalty should be enacted, and when the jury gets enough evidence, fry that sonofabitch. Why? An eye for an eye may be old, but it still works.
-
The thing about death row is that there is always a chance that the person is innocent. By executing people, we give up their chance to prove themselves innocent if some new evidence comes up, or anything like that.
-
Capital punishment is an extreme response to an offence and really should be used as a last last last resort.
-
I absolutely disagree with the first and last.
-
I agree with all 3 of your points.
