Are you a campaign gamer or a multiplayer gamer? Which do you prefer more? Do you go straight into the multiplayer, or do you start with the campaign first?
I'll generally play through the campaign first, unless I have some friends online playing multiplayer. Although I probably buy games for the multiplayer most of the time.

Depends on the game. In cod black ops I went straight to multiplayer for transformers fall of cybertron I did campaign first

Campaign, multiplayer is just a bonus to kill time after the campaign.

I hardly ever play multiplayer, I don't buy multiplayer games, I buy singleplayer games, if they come with MP, that's just a bonus then.

Depends on the game. I usually dive into the campaign first unless it's Battlefield games (not including Bad Company 1-2) because the campaign is terrible but the multiplayer is awesome

What if I like both?

Looking forward to Grand Theft Auto Online, not so much the story mode (which does sound innovative though).

Depends on the game. I buy Skyrim because the single player experience is a lotta fun. But a game like Halo all I do is play multiplayer.

Depends on the game. A game like The Last of Us demands you play the campaign just because of the quality. The multiplayer is great too but the campaign is too enticing to pass up. A game like call of duty or battlefield where the focus is on multiplayer I could care less about the campaign and sometimes I don't even play them.

Actually, if I'm really pumped for a game, I play the multiplayer first. I want to try it out because I know that once I start the campaign, I'm not done until at least two sections in.

Im not really into MP.

Well seeing as a multiplayer game hasnt interested me since halo 3 im a campaign type of person.
