Ever since they got accepted into the role at 343, they have made impressive changes. They are actively involved in the competitive community, and they seem to be listening and responding, especially Quinn. They introduced the 4sk BR, they are open to experimenting with no sprint and faster movement speed, and they are constantly talking to the heads of the competitive Halo community such as Ninja, Ghostayame, Gandhi, etc. In addition, 343 also recently hired the guy responsible for the legendary Star Craft Ranking system, Josh Menke, who has been actively trying to start a new revolutionary ranking system in Halo 5.
Here are some of the things that have happened since Quinn and Bravo have taken over Matchmaking for Halo 4
-Pro Variants introduced into main playlists
-Rumble Pit added instead of Regicide, with Pro Variants being predominant in the voting slots
-Weapon tuning which buffed the Carbine and the BR, while also reducing RRR on DMR and the aim assist on automatics.
-Static spawns have been added to Matchmaking
-Competitive forge maps have been introduced into Matchmaking
-Team Throwdown and Team Doubles were introduced, along with a more polished Team Snipers
-Promised that Halo 5 will have descoping
-Have advertised Competitive Halo Tournaments like AGL in the main game
In addition, Kynan Pearson, the map designer of 343, has left 343.
So what do you guys think?
