After nearly 30 hours of straight raging, the Seventh Column is no closer to truly resolving the question of whether the PS4 or Xbox One is the superior console, although I think we can all agree each console has some pros and cons, and that we don't know everything about either console yet.
In that spirit, I'd like to propose a truce.
E3 is only 19 days away, and barring either Sony or Microsoft unleashing a pre-emptive information dump, that's the next opportunity we're going to get to do this all over again with any more information.
I think there are a lot of really smart people making really smart points for both consoles (and I also think there are a lot of fanboys for either side being blindly spiteful to the other side), but again, until E3, we're not going to make any real headway on the issue; everything until then is pretty much going to be bitter raging one way or the other.
I really hate to see this awesome and well-informed community turn on itself, especially so early and over so little knowledge in the console war. I know it sounds naive to ask us all to hold hands and sing Kumbaya, but I think it may be the only way we're going to get through to E3 without tearing each other to shreds.
So, Seventh Column. Can we bury the hatchet for three weeks?

.... I dunno. I haven't seen any of these raging fanboys you've mentioned, and I feel like with at least the people I've been discussing with there's been reasonable points brought up on both sides and we've come out all the more informed for it. So far as I've seen, there isn't any reason to stop discussion. We admittedly don't have much information to discuss currently, but I feel like it's enough that we can get some early and useful opinions on the pros and cons.
