It was Superman's birthday a couple days ago. I forgot to post a thread, so what the hell, here's a complimentary vs one.

Edited by RECON: 4/21/2013 4:23:36 PMIt seems to me that a bit of a stalemate has been reached. What's surprising me is how many people are overlooking Dahuterschuter's (I think I spelled that right) suggestion of trapping Superman in slipspace. Sure, it'd be difficult, but it's not as if nobody has tricked Superman before. I'm making a lot of assumptions here, though, so I guess you'd just have to put a pin in that one. With respect to Neural Physics, it's simply just too inconclusive to use as a threat or to dismiss. For example, we're not sure if it's completely invulnerable to physical damage or if the case is just that other factions in the Halo universe have been unable to break it with applied force. The answer to that problem could very well make the difference in this thread. There's also the matter of how Superman would be affected by the Halo rings. Neither side can properly prove that Superman would or would not be impervious to them because, again, the Halo lore hasn't specified enough about how it works. The forerunners and precursors are deliberately kept somewhat mysterious and vague, so it isn't really fair to use them as valid reasoning for defeating superman. That also doesn't mean that DC wins by default. It's just inconclusive.
