What changes do you think could make Halo 5 (even) worse than Halo 4
I think more quick time events

I can think of any number of ways that 343idiocy could make it worse....unfortunately. The most prominent and first and foremost being if they continue to -blam!- up the lore and just completely ignore canon, doing instead whatever the hell they want. If the story in Halo 5 is anything like in Halo 4 or what 343i has been doing in the Kilo-5 nonesense by Karen Travissty....I fully expect the story to suck at least just as much as those. I do not like where 343i is taking Halo, at all, and it feels by this point like the series is being turned into something else entirely and the only similarities with Halo now lies in name only >_>

Sarah Palmer is still alive, so nothing will save it. Ever.

The cycle will continue as it always has. People will think Halo 4 is better then 5, like how everyone thought 2 was better then 1, 2 was better then 3 etc.

i was banned on waypoint for giving my view... that should say it all

Edited by Steel Assassin: 4/14/2013 9:27:02 AMThese are all campaign theories. I thought of adding a spoiler tag, but if you walked in here not playing Halo 4 already, it's your own fault. - Didact returns as infected, leading new horde of Flood from some other galaxy. - Good Forerunners follow Flood into galaxy with Chakas/Guilty Spark. They give Chief and Spartans upgrades. Causes another schism within the Elites/Covenant. - Space magic causes Cortana to come back to life, in a more corporeal form. ...yay.

Edited by ZealotSG: 4/13/2013 11:17:38 PM-make Chief a hopeless cripple by robbing him of his jump capability altogether and reducing the fall distance (like H3 did. It's actually decent in H4) -in addition to H4's long recharge start, make the recharge rate take a whopping 30 seconds -every level features a QTE and they never vary and/or are always designed with nothing but new players in mind (i.e. never substituted with a skippable cutscene on higher difficulties) -give us a boss battle that plays itself until the very end so we feel like a winner (i.e. 343 Guilty Spark) -still no innovation in skull set. If they want to pull off another Bandanna, make a separate category for it. I'm all for a difficulty LASO experience but when 90% of the skull set are difficulty oriented AND wrecks gameplay *looks at Anniversary*, that's just a waste of skull slots. -still no innovation in checkpoint system (why do I have to die 5 times to revert to second last checkpoint? This was first implemented in H2. By now it should be in the settings). Also, what the hell happened to repeating checkpoints? -still no innovation in settings (why can't I adjust music volume, dialogue volume, etc.?)

Scarab killstreaks.

A railshooter using the Kinect. Anything else pales in comparison.

Halo 4 + Halo 2. No please God so it ain't so!!!!
I think more quick time events
I wouldn't be surprised if they dedicate 2-3 levels of the 4-level campaign to just QTEs. Beyond that, they'll probably have Aim Down Sights, Forge will be EXACTLY the same as in Halo 4, (which was EXACTLY the same as Halo: Reach) Spartan Ops will be nothing but cutscenes and the game will come with on-disk day-1 "DLC." Beyond that, a certain number of diehard fans will still buy millions of copies, 343i will inflate the multiplayer population numbers by including people who know what Halo is, and 343i will continue to strut around like they're God's gift to gamers just like they did with Halo 4. Not. Gonna. Buy.
-
343 would really have to outdo themselves to do that.

Only 7 campaign missions
-
Redundant question considering everyone here will consider Halo 5 as being worse than Halo 4 even if it was a Halo 3 copypasta.

Edited by Tartan 118: 4/14/2013 9:40:15 AMNo colour. No Theatre. No Forge. A cliche and stupid story. No new toys. No new features. Every fight is a QTE.
