I'm wanting something that can easily handle multiple servers (web, database, etc...) running concurrently, IDEs like Visual Studio and NetBeans, Virtualisation with VMWare (and possibly a VM server), regular stuff like web browsing, email clients, etc... and possibly gaming. I'm also looking to play with overclocking (hence the choice of CPU/motherboard) and have room for expansion in the future.
I'm not as well-versed on the hardware side (especially in regard to gaming setups) as I am with software, so here's what I have so far. Suggestions are very much welcome.

Anything else (monitor, keyboard, software, etc...) I already have or can get without any hassles. No recommendations for pre-built computers though; I want to get my hands dirty.

Aftermarket CPU cooler. Extra fans to put into the pc case. Its got a lot of mesh areas which can be utilised
