Skyrim glitch?
K, so I walk into Riften to find a battle between the Riften Guards and Imperial Guards. I sided with the Legion so I help out by killing a Riften Guard. But for doing that, the Imperials arrest me.
Is this a glitch? Why would I get arrested for helping out?

2 RepliesThey are all still considered guards. Just because they are fighting each other doesn't mean that they will ignore you striking a guard.

Edited by Elegiac: 3/18/2013 7:02:58 PMThere's always a Rift Guard fighting an Imperial Soldier at the Nirnroot farm in my game. Same deal as what you described. You've just got to let them duke it out. If you interfere you get in trouble.

Not so much a glitch as an oversight. The guards and soldiers are enemies to eachother but both are allies to the player, and guards don't care what the reason is if you get a bounty.
