I don't normally get this, but tonight I did.
I was driving home and when I came to an intersection this guy in this Camaro (base model, I'm pretty sure) is to my left. It's his turn to go and he goes the way I'm indicating I'm turning to, except when he does, he shows off by flooring it. Being that I also drive a pony car (Mustang GT) and that no other cars were close yet, I decided to floor it as well to catch up with him.
At this point, he's already driving at a steady pace and I'm still going pretty fast so I decide to pass him. When I get to the other lane, he floors it again, and the oncoming car is getting closer so I have to pull back into the drivers lane. This is when it all goes down hill. When I get back over, he slams on the brake almost causing me to crash into him. There was no car ahead of us, so obviously he meant to pull that dick move.
Needless to say, I was pretty pissed off and I ended up flipping him off and following him for awhile whilst cussing him out in the sanctuary of my car.
So, guys, do you get road rage? Do you have any stories similar to mine?

Well, I do have those moments when I pass in front of someone and then slam on the brakes...

I dont really get road rage. I have had some people cut me off when they are in the turning left lane and suddenly pulling into my lane almost hitting me. In these cases I reason people dont mean it and it was an honest mistake. The people who drive fast and are fast to honk their horns piss me off the most.

Living in South Florida, road rage is a constant state of being when driving.

Edited by Spiffy Caboose: 2/21/2013 12:59:03 AMI drive a weak vehicle (power wise), so it's not common for me to get upset. But I don't shy away from anything, if you start creeping in my lane, IDGAF.
