I can't say it does. If I'm at my local Game (that's Gamestop to you yanks) I don't think I'd be willing to pick up and buy a game that's got a half naked chick plastered on it. It's just a cheap marketing technique and probably hurts sales rather than helps them.
Unless it's a digital download, because then no one sees that you're buying a game that has a huge pair of double Ds on the front, so you don't give a -blam!-.
