Microsoft has blown it with the Xbox, and now it's at risk of Apple totally destroying the business, Nat Brown, the founder of the original Xbox project, recently wrote on his blog.
"Apple, if it chooses to do so, will simply kill Playstation, Wii-U and xBox by introducing an open 30%-cut app/game ecosystem for Apple-TV," Brown writes. [/quote]
What do you think? Apple has dabbled in the possibility of entering the video game market before (if you recall, they even thought about acquiring Bungie back in the day) and there is no denying that the Xbox user experience definitely isn't as good as it could be.
What would you think of an Apple console-like device (or as this guy alludes to, a digital distribution network)? We've seen a lot of companies start thinking about moving into gaming (Steambox, Ouya) where it has generally been a duopoly for gamers between Microsoft/Sony.

Edited by asdasdasdasdasdf: 2/13/2013 8:05:57 PMI would not buy an Apple console, because if it operates like any other apple devices then I'd rather receive a 5 hour long anal cavity search by O.J. Simpson than pay good money for something like that. I mean sure the xbox is quite limited but Apple products take the word 'limits' and give it a whole new meaning. No doubt though that they would do fairly well in the console market, at least for a while.
