For those who are interested in getting Dead Space 3, you may want to consider the following three things:
1. It will include microtransactions.

2. It isn't optimized for PC.

3. DLC has already been announced, despite the fact that the game hasn't even hit stores yet.

To sum it up, I wouldn't recommend buying this game (if you actually care about what I recommend). No game with a $60 price tag should include microtransactions, and no developer should make plans for their games DLC before the game even comes out. Not to mention the fact that PC gamers are getting completely ripped off because the developer is to lazy to make a good PC port. In the interest of fairness? Really?
Hopefully the VicseralGames/EA realize their mistake and decide to fix the PC port, put the DLC planned into the original game, and drop the microtransactions. Of course, this probably won't happen.
1. It will include microtransactions.
I remember Dead Space 1 and 2 doing this with upgraded weapons. Also, Forza 4 and Horizon allows you to purchase tokens to buy cars with, and NBA 2K13 allows you to buy credits to upgrade your player in My Career mode... Its not new, yet I don't remember anyone having problems with them.
