Ima keep bailing on teams when the matchmaking is lopsided. Finally just said screw it. The suspension is better than playing that game for 10 minutes.
Here’s a simple solution bungie…solves all your issues.
1. Remove duo que (stop splitting the player populations. You do not have enough players in your game for this)
2. Implement a snake draft. Best player available goes to opposite teams. (Stop putting two .5 kd players on the team of a 2kd player only to put three 1.7s on the other team.)
3. Remove your algorithm that attempts to force players into a 50/50 win loss.
I don’t think this is a tough ask here. It’s literally a simple fix for you, and it improves the quality of the game for all players.
Until then….yeah, sorry little bots, but ima bail when you’re on my team in a lopsided game.

I am going to assume you are talking about the Competitive playlist, because the Competitive playlist is the only one that uses SBMM (RBMM) and Lobby Balancing. 1. Removing Duo-queue is an option. I personally dislike this, as it forces me to find a third when I only have a single friend online. However, this would probably speed up matchmaking times and reduce the likelihood of matching stacks vs. solos. 2. I believe they already use a Snake Draft. See the recent TWABs for more info on how it works. However, Bungie is not using K/D to split up teams- they use the "Skill" parameter that only Bungie knows and tracks. 3. The point of SBMM and Lobby Balancing is to create games where each team is balanced and all players have approximately the same skill level. This type of system causes most players to sit at around a 50% win rate. That is simple statistics and not Bungie "forcing" you to lose. If you lose a game with even teams, that is on you, not Bungie. Obviously, not all of Bungie's systems work perfectly because it is impossible to balance teams perfectly. Lopsided games do happen, but they are less common with the systems that are in place now. If you want control over your teammates, then you know what to do. Go make a Fireteam and play with them. Finally, calling players "little bots" and leaving the game when you're the best player on your team is toxic af. How would you feel if you were left behind by a better player? Remember, good players compete and try to improve, no matter the odds. Bad players whine, quit, and make excuses. What kind of player do you want to be?
