Lately it seems as though a lot of local in-game chats have become frankly, unreadable and more than anything, unhelpful. When blueberries (and myself tbh) are trying to relay frustrations, I expect some cursing to be thrown in. But if I turn on an in-game setting to keep some profanity, why am I still seeing so much censorship? Is there a bug still present? I fully expect some sort of filter to be in place to prevent anything close to hate speech (which is awesome!!!), but why is that experienced so intensely?
I know this game is still rated T, but is there any other documentation as to why the censorship is so aggressive? This franchise was rated T in 2014, and T again in 2017. By that logic, shouldn't a huge majority of the playerbase be old enough to see profanity in the text chat?
Zero hate btw; Genuinely trying to gain a better understanding of the text chat content policy.
