I posted this on Reddit but am importing it here as well so it can hopefully be addressed soon:
Path of the Burning Steps are Unusable as of Act 2 of Revenant.

Watch the video for me breaking down the bug and how it isn’t working or read this for a quick explanation:
I recently got Icebreaker after running the dungeon for 6 weeks. I wanted to make a build with it utilizing PotBS to gain a higher damage buff which also increases ignition damage so the pairing seemed perfect. However to my disappointment I quickly realized that the boots were not applying ANY damage boost even after killing multiple combatants and even trying the grenade to see if it only worked with that.
The exotic is supposed to provide a non stacking damage boost to any weapon once it is activated with it maxing out at X4 for a 25% damage boost. It activates on any solar kill, weapons or abilities with the quickest way for it to activate is getting solar grenade kills. It is also the only buff in the game to increase ignition damage, hence why I was excited to try it with Icebreaker as it would buff its entire kit while active by 25% and make it pretty potent.
I’m hoping Bungie sees this and is able to patch it somewhat quickly, however I highly doubt it due to the large amount of bugs in the game as is so these boots will sit in the vault until something happens to fix them.
