Our ships can be used to transport, bomb, fighter, a frigit for supplies, gather intelligence, to 'fix' things required to proceed with a mission (like an engineering ship)... Eve Online and certain other 'space games' utilize everything - Bungie why not us? Instead of just going from planet to planet - which seems like a waste of gameplay loading in - you can do crucible matches, raids that require tactics or missions that require team tactics to land Guardians for missions or outright ship-to-ship, ship-to-ground, ground-to-ship combat. This would really shake the game up, don't you think?
