Why go back at all, bring more the D1 assets to D2 platform don't do a remaster of an old game I say it's not a good idea. What are your guy's thoughts on a Destiny 1 remaster.

It's probably better just take a break for a few years and let everyone on the team do other projects.

We have three raids, three strikes and worse versions of the moon and cosmodrome. We not have D1 atmosphere or music. We dont have a ton of OG pvp maps that ROCKED. We do not have D1 exotic quests which were really really fun. We're missing the OG social spaces. The destiny 1 progression system (which I like much more than the resetting seasonal model) will never be ported over to Destiny 2. I'm not saying Destiny 1 is better, I'm not saying Destiny 2 is worse. What I will say is that they are different games for different people. If Bungie did a D1 remaster through Sony, I guarantee that they would have more overall players. More players playing Destiny games is a good thing. The community should not be at war on this.

Would be awesome as an offline game with couch co op, and should include everything until the point where bungle decided to start "sunsetting" things

They’re just going to recycle it all into d2. So. Doesn’t really make it a “remaster.”
-
Pretty sure if you hang around long enough we'll get it all back in D2. There won't be a need to "remaster" anything.
-
Doubt we'll get a D1 remaster atleast from bungie
-
I’m not interested. There was a time that I would have been, but not now. Remastered D1, an all new D3 ? Doesn’t matter to me. Even if they pulled it off, how long until they run it into the ground.
-
Is this actually something they're going to do?
-
Would be interesting but so much of d1 is in d2 anyway
-
If they updated D1 movement to D2 with manteling it could be fun but then they'd need to rebalance all content, at that point its not really D1 and I doubt they have the talent to do it well. I still enjoy D1 occasionally but I wouldn't pay for a remaster.

Edited by CommandoNinja: 11/17/2024 7:07:45 AMDoesnt need a remaster, just 60/120 fps and revert the special ammo changes in crucible

Interesting have to see

They vaulted so many stuffs because the game gets too big to manage, and then they bring recycled content as "new content", what's the reason they deserve any money in the first place when other games give actually new content for less price if not free?
